Battlecard Arena
Know their game. Run our play. Win the round.

Four arenas, one qualifying question, a flashcard drill and a findings bonus round. Bet as teams, every card here gets rebuilt with your answers, so play hard: this is your tool being written.

How the arena works

See the card. Then bet on the play.

Each arena: one battlecard, then one scenario, your team picks A/B/C/D, we reveal, +100 for the right play. Flashcard drill in the middle, findings round at the end. Podium decides who buys nothing, the winner just brags.

Arena 1 of 4 · OEM ecosystems, Caterpillar* & peers

They own their iron. Lock-in is the product.

THEIR GAME

Trusted name, deep native integration on their own fleet, service & financing network. Never attack the iron, it's good iron.

THEIR LIMIT

Built for a single-brand world. Mixed fleets break the model, and lock-in quietly taxes the customer's freedom on the next purchase.

OUR PLAY

The fleet question in minute two. One brand → qualify with care, log it, seed the freedom question. Two or more → accelerate: Maximus + Sophia run a mixed-brand fleet as one operation.

*Public positioning + measured search visibility, never confidential information
Arena 1 · The scenario

Prospect: "Our OEM already does this."
Your first response?

Team A
Team B
Team C

Agree, then qualify. The argument is freedom + mixed reality, never a hardware fight.

Arena 2 of 4 · Controls specialists, ComAp* · DEIF* · Deep Sea*

Tall in search. Anchored to the module.

THEIR GAME

Credible hardware, spec-sheet authority, embedded in panels and tenders. The decarbonization lane is already saturated by them.

THEIR LIMIT

The story stops at the controller. Running the whole site as one operation is not their conversation, it's ours.

OUR PLAY

Elevate component → operation. Their controllers can stay, Maximus orchestrates above them; Chip-to-Cloud proves we go deeper AND higher.

Never fight spec-by-spec at controller level, that's their home field
Arena 2 · The scenario

A tender compares controller specs line by line. Our move?

Team A
Team B
Team C

Change the axis of comparison: from module features to site-wide operation, the row their spec sheet doesn't have.

Arena 3 of 4 · Complete power solutions, turnkey / power-as-service

One of them is already paying to own the conversation.

THEIR GAME

Full-service narrative, aggressive digital presence, one player is buying AI-assistant and search ads on data-center power terms. No other player in the arena was seen doing it.

THEIR LIMIT

They sell their fleet and service. The operator who already owns mixed assets still has no operating layer, that gap is ours.

OUR PLAY

Speed. Own the problem language before their ads do. PAR + Capex avoidance against renting outcomes: run what you own as one system first.

Market-intelligence dataset · Aug 2026 · competitor ad activity, defined scope
Arena 3 · The scenario

A data-center prospect is about to rent more capacity. Your opener?

Team A
Team B
Team C

Capex avoidance is the sharpest financial edge PAR has, optimize what they own before they rent or buy more.

Arena 4 of 4 · Packagers, the channel, not an enemy

~70% of revenue flows through them. Equip, don't compete.

THEIR REALITY

They assemble, quote and own the customer moment. They repeat whatever language wins bids.

THE RISK

If we speak component language, they position us as a parts vendor, a margin war we can't win.

OUR PLAY

Hand them the fleet question and the PAR story so they beat OEM-native quotes. Every phrase repeatable without us in the room. Never bypass them.

Stakeholder interview, 24 Jul 2026, the strongest channel evidence in the program
Arena 4 · The scenario

A packager keeps losing bids to OEM-native quotes. We…

Team A
Team B
Team C

The channel is the asset, the language just makes it sharper. A packager who wins with our words sells us every week.

Halftime drill · tap a card, first team to answer before the flip wins +50 (score it manually +)

Six cards. No notes.

Power Asset Readiness
the umbrella story, tap

Equipment you bought, mixed brands, turned into capacity you can run and see. Openings, executives, CFOs.

Mixed-brand generator fleets
the descriptor, tap

The buyer's words for their environment. Replaced "OEM-agnostic": zero search demand + absolute-claim risk.

Chip-to-Cloud
the technical proof, tap

Controller firmware up to the cloud, one architecture. For engineers. Proof follows story, never opens it.

The fleet question
first 2 minutes, tap

"How many different generator brands are in your fleet today?" One = their zone. Two+ = accelerate.

Entry terms
what buyers type, tap

Generator controls · remote monitoring · fleet management, the doors new buyers walk through.

Capex avoidance
the CFO line, tap

Free hidden capacity in assets they already own, optimize before buying new iron.

Bonus round · the findings behind the plays

Every play you just bet on stands on a measured finding.

Three questions. Same rules, +100 each. These are the numbers your battlecards are built from, each with source, date and scope in the Evidence Pack.

Finding 1

In 5,176 problem-first AI answers, how many mention EKU?

Team A
Team B
Team C

Zero, while AI describes us correctly 503 of 744 times when someone names us. The file exists; nobody opens it. That's why the OEM play starts with the problem, not our name.

AI-answer baseline · Jul–Aug 2026 · comparison scope
Finding 2

Share of search clicks from people already typing "EKU"?

Team A
Team B
Team C

999 branded clicks vs 5 problem clicks in six months. The website only meets people we already met, which is why the entry terms exist.

Google Search Console · Feb–Aug 2026 · 491 queries classified
Finding 3

The market that's looking before we even launch there?

Team A
Team B
Team C

All four are real, but South Africa is the entry signal: people SEE EKU and don't click yet. Exactly what a dedicated Africa positioning fixes. Germany's 21.3% is brand strength; Neuquén means Vaca Muerta already visits.
