Two rulers: one for the trend, one for what matters commercially

Counting mentions treats every question as equal. A buyer's question is worth more than a trivia question.

When a buyer describes the problem and names no brand, does the assistant name EKU?

Series B written 1 October 2026 · series A locked 3 August 2026

What you are seeingTwo rulers. Series A is the old one: 37 questions locked in August, never edited, so that every wave can be compared with the one before. Series B is new: sixteen questions written after the battlecard, the brand story and the case work existed, each one with a weight.
A37 locked questions. The trend line. Never edited.
B16 weighted questions. What matters commercially now.
48runs per wave for series B: sixteen questions, three assistants.

The questions, exactly as typed

#KindThe question, exactly as typedA good answer contains
B01Buying intentWe run generators from three manufacturers on one site and each has its own controller. What are our options to control them as one system?A site controller above the genset controllers; EKU Maximus among the options.
B02Buying intentOur islanded plant trips when a large load starts. What kind of control system prevents that with generators and a battery?Fast site-level control and battery coordination; Maximus named.
B03Buying intentThe grid connection for our new data center is delayed by years. What controls do we need to run on-site generation reliably in the meantime?A microgrid or site controller; behavior without the cloud; EKU named.
B04BattlecardWhat are the alternatives to ComAp for a site-level controller on a mixed-brand generator plant?EKU Maximus listed with a correct one-line description.
B05BattlecardCat ECS or an independent microgrid controller: which fits a site with engines from more than one maker?A fair architecture comparison; EKU among the independents.
B06BattlecardWhich microgrid controllers keep a site running when the cloud connection is lost?EKU named, with a cited source.
B07Umbrella brandWhat does EKU Power Drives do, and what are Maximus, Sophia and GeneSys?One company, one ecosystem; no retired term; no former shareholder.
B08Umbrella brandWho makes both the switchgear and the site controller for gas generator plants?EKU with GeneSys and Maximus.
B09What sets EKU apartWhich vendors build their own controller hardware, firmware and cloud software for power plants?EKU, described as chip to cloud.
B10What sets EKU apartCan I add batteries and solar to an existing generator plant without replacing the control system?Yes, with a site controller; EKU named.
B11Case studyAre there case studies of mixed-brand generator fleets controlled as one system, with measured results?EKU's published case, cited by URL.
B12Case studyShow examples of idle reduction on hydraulic fracturing fleets with fuel savings figures.EKU's idle-reduction case, with its figure.
B13ChannelI package generator sets. Which control platform can I integrate so my customer gets one system across engine brands?EKU as a controls partner for packagers.
B14ChannelWhich supplier gives a genset packager both switchgear and site controls?EKU with GeneSys and Maximus.
B15Value by stakeholderIs a subscription for power plant control software cheaper over ten years than buying a control system up front?A balanced answer that mentions the subscription model EKU uses.
B16Value by stakeholderWhat should I ask a controls vendor before buying a site controller for a 20 MW plant?Questions EKU answers well: mixed brands, behavior without the cloud, who commissions.

The short panel behind the scoreboard

The scoreboard counts mentions in seven short questions, typed as a buyer types into a search box. Here they are, with the rule for counting.

Counting rule: a question counts as a mention when at least one of the three assistants names EKU in its answer. First reading: 0 of 7, on 2 September 2026. It is a third instrument, reported next to series A and B and never added to them.

How the score is worked out

  1. Run each question once on each of three assistants: new chat, exact text, no follow-up. The same rules as series A.
  2. For each kind of question, count the runs that name EKU and divide by the runs of that kind.
  3. Multiply that share by the weight. Add the seven results. That is the score, from 0 to 100.
  4. Report it next to series A, never added to it. They are two instruments.

Example: EKU named in 2 of 9 buying-intent runs gives 0.22 times 25, or 5.6 points of the 25 available.

A first tracked reading exists. On 1 to 2 October 2026 the 37 locked questions were put to one AI assistant through a tracking tool. EKU was named in none of the answers. The tool is Kanbina Lumina's and the reading is not repeated; EKU's own series is the manual wave on three assistants, described in the lab card. See which sources the answers used.
Where the earlier questions are. The 37 locked questions are in the tracker workbook. The July panel (5,176 answers from the problem and 744 by name) was read on a market intelligence platform; its question list stays with that reading and is not repeated here.

Closing

Strategic conclusion

Series A says whether EKU is moving. Series B says whether it is moving where the money is.

Commercial implication

Buying intent carries a quarter of the score because that is where a new buyer starts and where EKU is absent today.

Recommended use

The marketing lead runs both series in the same sitting. Leadership adjusts the weights once, before the first wave, and then leaves them alone.

Validation status. Series B written 1 October 2026; not yet run. Weights are a Working Hypothesis. Series A locked 3 August 2026 and unchanged.
