Positioning and approved language

One brand, one story, one way to say it

Every seller describing EKU differently costs more than any competitor does.

Can a buyer repeat what EKU does after hearing it once?

Working glossary of 30 September 2026

The brand from top to bottom

1

Umbrella brand

EKU Power Drives. Founded in 2015. Stuttgart and Spring, Texas.

2

Category story

Power Asset Readiness: equipment you bought becomes capacity you can run and see.

3

Ecosystem

Maximus ecosystem: Maximus and Sophia, always presented as one offer.

4

Buyer words

Mixed-brand generator fleets; generator controls; remote monitoring.

The one description, word for word on every channel: EKU Power Drives designs controls, switchgear and data platforms that let operators run generators, pumps and power equipment from different manufacturers as one system.

Channel kit, 24 Sep 2026. Power Asset Readiness organizes the content now; public use on the home page waits for leadership's go-ahead. Product spellings: GeneSys, Sophia, Maximus.

The approved sentence for any competitive conversation

Approved 23 September 2026

EKU integrates and orchestrates mixed-brand generator fleets as one system through the Maximus and Sophia ecosystem. The competitive question is who owns the site-control logic, how the site behaves locally and offline, how commissioning works, and what field results can be proven.

The opening question for every prospect: "How many different generator brands are in your fleet today?" More than one brand makes a prospect.

Words to use and words retired

UseInstead ofWhy
mixed-brand generator fleetsthe brand-neutral descriptors of older materialBuyers do not search the old terms; the new one matches their language. Investor material keeps leadership's own wording.
cross-manufacturer integration (technical pages)brand-neutral wording on specification pagesIt states what is done without an absolute claim.
generator monitoring system, power plant control system, remote generator monitoringproduct names as entry termsThese are the measured entry terms. Product names organize the page; they do not capture demand.
"publishes measured whole-site behavior with the cloud link down" (once measured)"the only company", "nobody else can"Exclusivity was retired on 23 September: one rival documents load sharing across controller brands. The contest is proof, not uniqueness.
"no reported volume in this pull""zero demand"Absence in one pull is not absence in the market.
engine and controller brands as technical compatibilitypartnership, endorsement or customer wordingCompatibility is a fact on the datasheet. A relationship is a claim that needs written permission.
industrial idle management"idle management" aloneThe bare term is shared with truck systems and games.

Directions from leadership to carry into every message

Labels used on every claim in the repository

Confirmed · Observed · Stated by EKU · Working Hypothesis · Needs Validation. Where a statement comes from (leadership, a seller, a customer, outside research) is noted next to the label, never in its place. One person's statement never validates a recommendation by itself.

Decisions proposed to leadership

  1. Product names that collide with other industries. On Google, "maximus controller" belongs to a livestock-controller brand (EKU ranks 18th) and 14 of EKU's 27 ranked searches are people looking for Vulcan home heaters. Proposal: never use a product name alone as a search term or a page title; always "Maximus ecosystem for mixed-brand generator fleets" and "Vulcan industrial heating"; let the buyer terms carry the pages and the product names organize them. No renaming.
  2. Spanish for the sellers who work in Spanish. Three sellers (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia) sell in Spanish; this repository is English by decision. Proposal: Spanish editions of the battlecard and the field voice only, kept in the sales team's own space, updated whenever the battlecard version moves. Not a bilingual repository.
For leadership: public use of the category term and the data-center segment

The input: leadership's go-ahead to show "Power Asset Readiness" on the home page, and a formal decision on data centers as a named segment. What it unlocks: the home page headline, the learning-center pillar and the data-center subpage.

Closing

Strategic conclusion

One language is in place: umbrella, category story, ecosystem and buyer words.

Commercial implication

Every seller and every page saying the same sentence is what makes a buyer, and an AI assistant, repeat it.
